Apotheosizzle (2013)

An experiment using motion capture data from a dancer to control both visuals and sound and in turn influence the dancer’s performance via an environmental feedback loop. A Micorosoft Kinect is set up in front of the stage area and used to detect the x and y positions of the dancer’s joints. The dancer’s movements determine the nature of the animation as well as control parameters related to the sound being generated.
