A two-day cross-collaborative event for music/theater and technology experts to gather, brainstorm, and discover new methods for live performance. Participants will form interdisciplinary teams to identify specific constraints within live theater and explore various technological mediums to offer solutions. OPERA HACK will culminate with teams proposing their best ideas for further expansion. Immediately following the event, San Diego Opera will select 4 to 7 teams to develop and present their respective concepts at a public event in Summer 2020.
